Inside Book 1
- 13 big, bold coloring pages — glowing Shabbat candles, a boy in his kippah, sweet challah, the kiddush cup, and Biscuit the puppy stealing the show. Blank backs, so markers never bleed through.
- Six laugh-out-loud read-aloud stories starring Noam and his puppy Biscuit, with playful refrains he'll chant along with.
- Timeless quotes from Jewish tradition (public-domain sources), each paired with one simple idea to talk about together.
- A gift inscription page — "This book belongs to ___" — so the giver's love is part of the book.
- A note for parents on making Shabbat joyful at ages 4–5.
The 18-book journey
My Bar Mitzvah Journey grows with him — two books a year, from age four to his Bar Mitzvah at thirteen. Eighteen books: chai (חי), the Hebrew word for "life." The art grows more intricate as he grows; the stories grow deeper. Book 18 is his Bar Mitzvah Day keepsake, ending with a printable collage of every book he ever colored — his whole journey on one beautiful poster.
- Planting Seeds (Books 1–4, ages 4–5): Shabbat, blessings, kindness, holidays
- Growing Roots (Books 5–8, ages 6–7): prayer, Torah stories, mitzvot
- Branching Out (Books 9–12, ages 8–9): deeper traditions, community
- Becoming (Books 13–18, ages 10–13): his Torah portion, his D'var Torah, his mitzvah project — and his Bar Mitzvah day
